Reporting data is refreshed every six hours and supports historical reporting for up to five years.
You can quickly identify risks, monitor adoption trends, and navigate directly to detailed reports for further investigation.
The following universal controls are available on this page:
Feature | Description |
Reporting tabs | Includes the four reporting tabs:
|
Date range | Analyzes data across 15, 30, 60, 90, 180 days, 12 months, or for a custom range of dates. |
Filters | Refines results using tab-specific filters. |
Export all data | Exports report data to CSV file. |
Sorting | Sorts table columns in ascending or descending order. |

Overview tab
The Overview tab provides a high-level summary of organizational font health, such as licensing, compliance, and usage trends.
It is a set of summary widget cards. Each card shows the font usage, compliance, and trend reports for the company based on a key metric.
Key widgets
Widget | Description | Action to be taken |
Overall health | Company-wide health score provides a quick view of your company's font management health.
It is calculated on the scale of 0 to 100, where higher score indicates lower risk and better compliance. | Review or resolve issues |
Snapshot | Active fonts, imported fonts, webkits, domains served | View related reports |
Top projects | Projects with highest production font usage | View all projects |
Monthly web views | Web font consumption vs entitlement | Open Webkits report |
Time saved with auto activations | Auto-activation efficiency metrics. When a document uses fonts that aren't installed on your device, the Monotype plugin automatically activates them in the background. Fonts get deactivated at the end of your session and activates again when you need them. So, you don't need to manually install fonts and save system storage. | Shows the minutes saved with auto activation of fonts.
Manually activating a font takes time and effort, but auto-activation happens in milliseconds.
For example, if an auto-activation takes 15 seconds and there were 1000 auto-activations in the last 30 days, then you saved 15000 seconds (appx. 250 minutes or 4 hours and 10 minutes) |

What is a health score?
The Health score provides a quick overview of your company's font management health. The score is measured on a scale of 0 to 100, where higher scores indicate lower risk and better compliance.
How is the Health Score calculated?
The health score is automatically calculated based on the following factors:
Seat slots being used
Production font slots being used
Imported fonts that are out of compliance (only if imported fonts are in use)
Web views limit (only if webkits are activated)
Leaving Soon fonts being used in active assets
Each factor contributes to the overall health score and helps identify areas that may require attention.
What does a higher health score mean?
A health scores above 70% is considered optimal. A higher health score indicates:
Lower compliance risk
Better font license management
More efficient use of available font resources
Healthier overall font management practices
What do the health score colors mean?
The Health score uses color indicators to help you quickly assess your company's font management health:
Color | Score Range | Meaning |
Green | Above 70% | Optimal performance |
Yellow | 40% to 70% | Needs attention |
Red | Below 40% | Risk |
Why is my company's health score low?
The overall health score of your company may decrease if:
A large number of seat slots are being used
Production font slots are nearing or exceeding limits
Imported fonts are out of compliance
Webkit usage approaches configured limits
Leaving soon fonts are actively used in assets
Reviewing these areas can help identify the root cause of a lower score.
How can I improve the overall health score?
To improve the overall health score, consider the following actions:
Manage seat utilization and remove unused font assignments
Review imported font licenses and address compliance issues
Monitor live webkits and their usage
Allocate production fonts appropriately
Regularly reviewing these areas can help maintain a healthier font management environment.
How often is the health score updated?
The health score is recalculated every hour whenever the underlying data refreshes. Changes made to font allocations, licenses, or usage may take up to one refresh cycle to be reflected in the score.
Do imported fonts affect the health score?
Yes. Imported fonts can affect the health score if they are out of compliance. Companies using imported fonts should regularly review licensing and compliance status to avoid negative score impacts.
Does webkit usage affect the Health Score?
Yes, but only if webkits are activated in your company. If enabled, the health score evaluates web view limits as part of the calculation.
What are Leaving soon fonts?
Leaving soon fonts are fonts that are scheduled for removal or deprecation but are still being used in active assets. Continued use of these fonts may reduce your health score and increase operational risk.
Will my company's health score change automatically after I take corrective actions?
Yes. Once corrective actions are completed, the health score will automatically reflect the changes during the next hourly score recalculation cycle.

Incorrect month selected
Low webkit traffic during the selected period
Can inactive users appear in reports?
Yes. Historical reporting includes both active and inactive users for auditing and trend analysis.
What happens when I export report data?
